AAAS

Seminar report on the AAAS/NSBA Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education Seminar held in Kansas City in June of 2007.

Science for All Americans defines science literacy and lays out some principles for effective learning and teaching.

Benckmarks for Science Literacy is the Project 2061 statement of what all students should know and be able to do in science, mathematics, and technology by the end of grades 2, 5, 8, and 12. The recommendations at each grade level suggest reasonable progress toward the adult science literacy goals laid out in the project's 1989 report Science for All Americans.

Atlas of Science Literacy a two-volume collection of conceptual strand maps—and commentary on those maps—that show how students’ understanding of the ideas and skills that lead to literacy in science, mathematics, and technology might develop from kindergarten through 12th grade.

The Evolution Dialogues: Science, Christianity, and the Quest for Understanding, published by the Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion, presents a new conversation on evolution and Chrisitianity, including a description of the development of evolutionary theory from before Darwin to the present, the rich and complex historical  interaction of evolution and Christianity accounts of the nature of science and of Christian approaches to understanding, and the history of life as revealed through the evolutionary sciences.

Evolution on the Front Line: An Abbreviated Guide for Teaching Evolution, from Project 2061.

Communicating and Learning About Global Climate Change: An abbreviated Guide for Teaching Climate Change, from Project 2061.
