The term “Christian math” refers to the view that mathematics should be taught through the prism of religion.
This view is most common among more conservative Christians but it can appear in public schools as well, particularly in conjunction with the math wars. For example, some people believe that inquiry in mathematics, as opposed to traditional methods of teaching, is counter to Christian values. If this view becomes an issue in your district, try addressing it through sound public engagement. Be sensitive to all perspectives while focusing on student achievement as your primary goal
